In this project we worked with Visit Milwaukee to promote the Milwaukee Theater District. We were tasked with creating a marketing campaign with social media strategy, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and an experiential marketing brand activation component. We did market research to hone in on our target market and create 2 specific personas to focus on. Considering our target market and personas we decided on a campaign that features costume competitions where audience members can dress up as certain characters or under a certain theme depending on what type of show they are seeing. We created models of what our social media and email marketing may look like and include as well as selected two influencers using semrush that would help support these marketing activities with posts and stories. Our brand activation is doing theme weeks such as a Disney one where kids dress up as their favorite characters to attract families to interact with the Milwaukee Theater District. We created a formal report with all of our data as well as a presentation which we presented to representatives from Visit Milwaukee and overall I think it went very well.
